Oxford Wild by Laura Bradbury

I've really enjoyed all of the books I've read by Laura Bradbury, and Oxford Wild is no different.

I loved Cedar's character, and I loved her character development. Even though she's strong and fierce in her own right, she learns throughout the book that there is still room for growth. And she learns that it's ok to reach out a hand for help, even if you're scared to do so.

Alfie's character...well, he annoyed me a bit by the end of the book with how he continuously kept trying to hide Cedar. And he was so stubborn trying to blame everything on one specific person that he was blind to what everyone else could see. And it almost cost him everything. By the end of the book, he was back in my good graces though 😋

I enjoyed Cedar and Alfie's story, but I'll be honest. I loved Oxford Star more. And I'm sad that we're only going to get one more book from this series! I hope we keep getting little tidbits of previous couples like we have so far, because I'm loving them.

A few favorite quotes from Oxford Wild:

"𝘛𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘴 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵."

"'𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦.' 𝘐 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴. 𝘏𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺. '𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭.'"
